Specialist care and support provider Milewood, which operates five services* across Nottingham, has been named as a finalist in the 2026 Learning Disabilities and Autism Awards.
The organisation has been shortlisted in the Employer of People with a Disability category, recognising its commitment to creating inclusive employment opportunities and supporting people with disabilities across its services.
The national awards celebrate excellence across the learning disabilities and autism sector, highlighting organisations and individuals making a positive difference to the lives of the people they support.
The Employer of People with a Disability category recognises employers that demonstrate a strong commitment to accessibility, inclusion and meaningful career opportunities for disabled people within the workplace.
The recognition reflects Milewood’s ongoing work to build an inclusive culture across its services, while supporting colleagues to develop and thrive in their roles.

Winners of the Learning Disabilities and Autism Awards 2026 will be announced in June.
