Adult social care provider Milewood is investing in a new supported living service in Doncaster aimed at helping vulnerable adults develop greater independence and confidence in their daily lives.
Located on Thorne Road, the new scheme has been designed for adults aged 18 and over and offers five self-contained supported living flats.
The supported living accommodation comprises individual flats, each including a lounge and kitchen area, bedroom and en-suite bathroom. Communal gardens and on-site parking are also available.
The service, in partnership with the landlord Priority Housing, has been developed to provide a safe and supportive environment where individuals can build independent living skills and work towards achieving their personal goals, while receiving tailored support based on their needs.
Each flat includes essential appliances such as a cooker, fridge and washing machine. Lounge and bedroom areas are carpeted, while kitchens and en-suite bathrooms have lino flooring.
Support staff will be present 24 hours a day and also assist tenants in all aspects of daily life, promoting independence.
