We have completed a significant investment in Norton Villa, a specialist single-occupancy care home in Norton, Stockton-on-Tees, created to provide highly personalised support for an individual with a learning disability and autism.
Norton Villa has been developed in close partnership with local health and social care professionals after it became clear the individual’s needs could not be met within more traditional, shared care settings. The home is CQC-registered and has been carefully adapted following detailed consultation with the individual’s family and care specialists.
Designed to be calm, secure and sensory-aware, Norton Villa offers a private, homely environment that supports emotional wellbeing, promotes independence and encourages meaningful engagement within the local community. A dedicated team works closely with the individual to build everyday skills, pursue personal interests and develop positive local connections.
Nicola Parker, our service manager at Norton Villa, said: “We are creating a safe and supportive home for the individual who will be living here.
