Heworth Moor House is a supported living service focused on promoting independence and dignity in everyday life. We support tenants to build confidence, develop life skills, and maintain a strong sense of wellbeing.
Tenants are encouraged and supported to access local college courses, helping them gain skills that support progression into employment, activities, and independent living.
The service is ideally located just a 10 minute walk from York city centre. Excellent public transport and rail links make it easy for tenants to travel across York and beyond, supporting choice and independence.
Heworth Moor House also has strong links with other supported living services in York. Weekly shared activities support meaningful friendships, social development, and confidence building.
Activities vary regularly and may include days out, group trips, and seasonal events, all supported by a dedicated staff team.
Our aim is to support individuals to live active, fulfilling lives while feeling safe, valued, and supported in their own home.
