We love a good secret at Hawthorn House and this one has been a lovely surprise 🎄Peter has been visiting his Auntie recently and quietly working on something very special. With her support he has baked and decorated his very own homemade Christmas cake, all from scratch.The big reveal is finally out and we could not be more excited. Hawthorn House will be enjoying a slice of Peter’s homemade cake together on Christmas Day. What a brilliant achievement and a very tasty way to celebrate 🎂✨
🌟 We had to share these moments 🌟We are so proud to share a very special achievement for our Rowan House team in Scarborough, who have won the Above and Beyond Team Award at the Stars of LD&A Awards 🏆✨Standing on stage and receiving the award from Alexander Dragonetti, winner of the BBC series The Traitors, was a moment none of us will forget. It was a powerful reminder that the care, dedication and heart shown every single day at Rowan House is being recognised and celebrated.Rowan House is led by Registered Manager Leonne Ridsdale, Deputy Manager Clare Tomlinson, and an extremely proud Regional Manager, Samantha Hunt. This award truly belongs to every member of the team who puts their heart into supporting people to live happy, valued lives.As Clare said on the night:“We have never failed to be led by kindness and understanding. The people we support will always come first, and that is how it should be. Thanks, team, keep shining.”We also want to say a huge well done to all finalists, especially Amy Cousins and Kimberley Douglas. What an achievement to be recognised alongside so many amazing people 👏And finally, we hope everyone from Milewood had a fantastic night.
