At Hawthorn House we ensure that every day is fun whilst still developing everyone’s independence and daily living skills. We see individual grow and develop new skills. We go above and beyond to ensure all person-centred needs are met; by ensuring everyone has a person-centred care plan that reflects them as a person and their needs; so that everyone within the staff team deliver a high-quality standard of care and support to each individual.

About Hawthorn House
Hawthorn House is proud to deliver new activities and to help develop new hobbies, we encourage individuals to try new things and ensure we look for activities outside of the service as well as providing hobbies within the service. Hawthorn House grows its own vegetables, this has given individuals a sense of achievement when the vegetables are ready to be harvested. SERVICE User monthly meetings give the staff at Hawthorn the chance to gain ideas of what each individual living at Hawthorn likes and gives them the chance to put across ideas of new hobbies and interests they would like to do. Working with partners such as MIND we are able to support individuals to try new hobbies and join in with activities provided by them.
Hawthorn House prides itself in the care and support they give to everyone within the service. All staff are trained and gain qualifications whilst working at Hawthorn house. We ensure all care delivered is person-centred and if any areas of training are identified and actioned on. We have positive professional relationships with all professionals involved in each individual’s care and support plans, this is to ensure we can provide the best support and care to each individual.
A home from home...
Hawthorn House ensures that all health and safety are taken very seriously, monthly audits are completed, and any actions are completed in a timely manner. We make sure that no one is put at risk and that all changes within the home are safe and risk assessed. All staff have the correct and efficient training to ensure they can keep the home safe.
